Employer Forum to Focus on Compliance

The University of Texas-Pan American Small Business Development Center along in collaboration with WorkFORCE Solutions will host a conference for all local employers on Wednesday September 22 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The conference will focus on recognizing I-9 fraudulent documents, hiring & firing legal issues, and child labor laws amongst other issues. The half-day workshop is free and open to the public and will be held at the Rio Grande Valley Partnership in Weslaco.
