South Texas College Partnership for Workforce Training & Continuing Education

South Texas College has recently opened its new Partnership for Workforce Training & Continuing Education (Partnership) office at its Mid-Valley Campus in Weslaco, TX. The mission of the Partnership is to address the training requirements of individuals, businesses and organizations, both public and private, in the Mid-Valley Hidalgo area. Attached is the January 2005 Course Listing for your review. If a specific topic or training need is required by your organization, please contact Mr. Trejo or Mr. David Valdez for possible curriculum development and inclusion into future training schedules. For course registration, please contact Norman Sendejo (Primary) or Marcy Alanis. A complete new Spring 2005 catalog will soon be available for distribution and contains all the Continuing Education courses available at the Rio Grande City, McAllen and Mid-Valley campuses. Please contact any of the staff to have a catalog delivered to your organization. Special Note: Included in the schedule is a section titled “Grant Funded Training.” This section will contain fully funded training programs and are “No Cost” to businesses or organizations. To enter into these special training programs, certain qualifications and stipulations must be met and agreed upon prior to attending.
