Weslaco Economic Development Corporation board members and executive director recently returned from the International Council for Shopping Centers real estate convention held in Las Vegas with a positive outlook for the future of the community.
The Weslaco contingency was able to compare and contrast our regional economy with the rest of the country. Hernan Gonzalez, Executive Director of the Weslaco EDC said they came back to Weslaco feeling fortunate to live in Texas, especially the Valley. “We are in a very attractive area for developers and real estate brokers who are working on many projects for 2011 and 2012,” he said.
